"Great site Marines! I was with "Golf" 2/1 from 3/68 to 4/69. After Khe Sanh, Con Thien, Cua Viet, etc. we movedsouth in late August to relieve 3/27 at Cau Ha (camp 413).The Riviera was the worst! Lewis B. Puller Jr. was my platoon commander at the time until he was blown in half by a booby-trapped 105mm at Viem Dong in the Riviera on10 Oct 68. I will recommend your site to my 2/1 brothers."

"At last we make our mark in history to be read by all. For a 50th birthday gift, you are doing a geat job of recording our accomplishments and/or contributions during the V.N. war. Keep up this great work! I will definately stay in touch! Maybe the future generations will get an idea of what we lived through. For someone who didn't even want to go to a reunion, you sure came a long way! Semper Fi buddy! Great site Bob !!! Allen Austin directed me to your site.
Was looking for maps etc. concerning Go Noi Island and any references to 2nd plt. C-co. 1/27th Marines in that area around June 1968. My brother James Allen was KIA 5 June 1968 and I am doing research about same. Your site has been helpful. WELCOME HOME --- NEVER FORGET!

I do remember but not his name the Platoon Sergeant who was with the 26th Marines while in Vietnam. Any help…"
